Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)
LACC holds Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification granted by the National Customs Agency (DNA).
The AEO program recognizes operators that meet specific security and reliability standards in their operations and supply chains, following an evaluation process by the customs authority.
The Uruguayan program aligns with the World Customs Organization (WCO) SAFE Framework, which promotes cooperation between customs authorities and the private sector to enhance security and facilitate international trade.
This recognition positions LACC as a trusted operator within the international logistics chain, contributing to the security, traceability, and facilitation of foreign trade.

CEIV Pharma certification
The CEIV Pharma (Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics) certification, developed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), establishes an international standard for excellence in the handling and logistics of pharmaceutical products.
The certification evaluates critical operational aspects, including the quality management system, personnel, documentation, infrastructure and equipment, supplier management, internal audits, transport, storage, and cargo operations. Its objective is to strengthen the safety, compliance, efficiency, and integrity of pharmaceutical products throughout the logistics chain.
For LACC, this certification represents international recognition of its capabilities in handling temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products, reinforcing its value proposition as a specialized logistics operator and a regional distribution hub.

Ministry of Public Health authorizations
Since March 2017, LACC has been authorized by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) to operate as a warehouse for the storage of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and pharmaceutical specialties, as well as for the secondary packaging of third-party products.
The authorization also covers the handling of psychotropic drugs and narcotics, and includes storage areas with controlled temperatures (15–25°C), a cold room (2–8°C), a -20°C freezer, and areas dedicated to operational processes such as receiving, order preparation, dispatch, and secondary packaging.
LACC holds authorizations for medicines, cosmetics, modified foods, therapeutic devices, and diagnostic reagents.
GMP certifications by the Ministry of Public Health
LACC holds GMP compliance certifications issued by the Ministry of Public Health, which attest to the implementation of specific standards for the storage and handling of regulated products.
These include:
- Good practices for the storage and secondary packaging of medicines (GMP).
- Good practices for the storage of cosmetics and modified foods.
- Good practices for the storage and secondary packaging of diagnostic reagents, therapeutic devices, and medical equipment.
These certifications validate LACC’s ability to operate in compliance with specific regulatory requirements, maintaining appropriate conditions for product storage, handling, traceability, and control.

DILAVE: “Miguel C. Rubino” Veterinary Laboratories Division
LACC is authorized by the General Directorate of Livestock Services – Veterinary Laboratories Division (DILAVE) for the storage and secondary packaging of veterinary products within the following temperature ranges: 2–8°C, 15–25°C, and -25/–15°C.
This authorization expands LACC’s capabilities to provide specialized logistics solutions to the veterinary industry.

Institute for the Regulation and Control of Cannabis
LACC is authorized by the Institute for the Regulation and Control of Cannabis (IRCCA) for the storage and handling of cannabis-derived products, in accordance with the conditions and controls established by current regulations.

ISO 14001 certification
LACC holds ISO 14001 certification, the international standard for environmental management systems.
This standard provides a framework for identifying and managing the environmental aspects of an organization's activities, setting environmental objectives, meeting applicable legal requirements, and promoting continuous improvement in environmental performance.
The certification reflects LACC's commitment to responsible environmental management focused on continuous improvement, integrating environmental criteria into its processes and operations.
